Stafford County’s Beer & Business: Unveiling the impact of AI integration in business

In an exclusive interview with Will King, AI Strategist and founder of MF Growth, Potomac Local News uncovers the insights that will take center stage at Stafford County’s Beer & Business event on February 7. The event promises a unique exploration of AI’s integration into businesses, offering a blend of valuable information and networking opportunities.

King, drawing from his background in psychology and a Master’s Degree in human factors, shared perspectives on the transformative power of AI in the workplace, and he emphasized its role in marketing. King underscored the challenges faced by small business owners who may lack professional copywriting skills, stating, “If you’re a small business owner, the likelihood that you are a professional copywriter is just really low,” said King.

A compelling example shared by King is the case of Julie Jennings from Guidebook, where the prompt “make it better” is employed to showcase how AI can elevate existing content. “One of my favorite use cases was Julie Jennings. She takes an email template or a sales sheeter and right in front of it says, ‘make it better,’ and it does,” he explained.

King delved into the broader implications of AI in the workforce, addressing concerns about job displacement. King firmly advocates against cutting positions, asserting, “The smart play is to show everyone on your team how to use AI in their work,” and urges businesses to utilize AI for automating repetitive tasks, allowing employees to focus on more impactful work.

Addressing skepticism from those who believe AI won’t impact their roles, King points out the accelerating pace of technological advancements, stating, “The world where robots can perform tasks like limb a tree down with human-like dexterity is a lot closer than people think.”

King’s business, MF Growth, focuses on helping small businesses in Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas prepare for the imminent AI era.

The Stafford County’s Beer & Business event, sponsored by MF Growth, aims to further educate and engage the local community in AI integration in business discussions. Attendees can anticipate a dynamic evening at Full Distance Brewery, 650 Corporate Drive, Ste 101 in Stafford, on February 7, 2024, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., featuring insightful conversations, networking opportunities, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Registration for the free event is online.
