GAINESVILLE — There’s a new Hibachi restaurant opening this month at Gateway Promenade.
A new location of Passion Fin is slated to open at Gateway Promenade in Gainesville at 7320 Atlas Walk Way. While this restaurant’s main attraction is sushi and hibachi, but they will also offer Thai and Chinese food. They will serve beer, wine, sake and an assortment of soft drinks.
GAINESVILLE — RockWood Sports Bar is now open in Gateway Promenade in Gainesville.
The latest creation of D.C. restaurateur Mike Cordero, this restaurant opened in the space previously occupied by Ruby Tuesday.
MANASSAS — A new Mediterranean restaurant called Strofi is coming to Manassas. It will open in the Shops at Signal Hill on Liberia Avenue, across from Aldi.
Strofi owners Lidiia and Benan Aksoylu are a married couple with a desire to bring authentic Mediterranean food to Manassas. Benan is Turkish and explained that gyro, while typically seen in Greek restaurants here in the U.S., has its roots in a popular Turkish street food known as döner. He and Lidiia want to bring that same authentic dish to Manassas.
WOODBRIDGE — It’s clear that radio personalities in Fredericksburg like to drink their beer.
A new beer by Woodbridge brewer Brew Republic aims to deliver on two fronts — give the radio DJs the malt and hops they want, and do it for a good cause.
A Wendy’s restaurant at Parkway Crossing West on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge is remodeled.

6 Bears & a Goat Brewing Co.’s Mae West Blonde Ale has earned a gold medal in the 2018 Virginia Craft Beer Cup competition. The Virginia Craft Brewers Guild (VCBG) announced the award for the Fredericksburg-area brewery Monday during the group’s annual meeting in Richmond.
