Businesses and residents along Princess Anne Street in downtown Fredericksburg woke up in the dark Thursday morning as a power outage hit the city’s bustling makerspace and retail corridor.
Dominion Energy reports 328 customers are without power in the area shaded in yellow on the company’s outage map — a stretch that includes parts of Princess Anne Street, Caroline Street, and nearby blocks between Hunter Hill Avenue and Pitt Street.
OCCOQUAN, Va. – About 1,200 Dominion Energy customers are without power this afternoon after an accident damaged infrastructure in town, officials said.
The Town of Occoquan said crews are working on repairs and that residents may see their power cycle on and off while the work continues.
STAFFORD, Va. – More than 300 Dominion Energy customers are waking up without electricity this morning after an outage in the Spring Lake Farm and Vista Woods neighborhoods.
According to Dominion’s outage map, the power loss is centered around Shelton Shop Road and Spring Lake Drive, affecting 319 homes and businesses. Crews are investigating the cause.
AQUIA HARBOUR, Va. – Nearly 700 residents in Aquia Harbor are without electricity this evening as Dominion Energy reports a power outage affecting 697 customers.
According to Dominion’s outage tracker, the disruption is due to a “circuit out.” The utility company estimates that power will be restored between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. tonight.
