Woodbridge shooting death is 15th homicide in Prince William County in 2022

An 18-year-old man lost his life in a shooting Thursday night in Woodbridge. We first reported the shooting, one of two in the area) late Thursday evening. Police said the victim was shot and killed on Route 1 near Todos Supermarket and Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, at 10:24 p.m.

Prince William students named to VMEA Senior Honors Choir

Twenty-seven Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) students have been selected to take part in the 2022 Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) Senior Honors Choir. These students will perform at the VMEA annual conference on Saturday, November 19. “PWCS will be sending one of the largest choir student groups in all of Virginia to this year’s VMEA honors choir,” said Dr. Ed Stephenson, supervisor of the arts in PWCS. “This would not be possible without our dedicated teachers, students, parents, and community supporters.”

Glenn Youngkin will hold a rally for Yesli Vega, the Republican seeking Virginia’s 7th District Congressional seat, at the Stafford County Courtgovernor’se event begins at 12:30 at the courthouse, 1300 Courthouse Road, and is organized by the governor’s Spirit of Virginia PAC. The rally will be the second for Vega this week in which the governor has participated and the third overall since October 17.
