A Manassas man died after an SUV struck him while walking in the middle of a street.
On Wednesday, October 5, at 9:04 p.m., police were called to the area of Sudley Manor, and Chatsworth drives near Manassas to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.
On Thursday, October 6, the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue held its graduation ceremony for Recruit Class 2022-1 at the Grace Life Community Church, 9560 Linton Hall Road, in Bristow.

Those who waited until the last minute to pay their personal property taxes in Prince William County encountered problems.
At 9:30 p.m., the county announced its online tax payment system stopped working. Programmers restored the system about two hours later, the county states. It did not explain why or how the system crashed.
Officers stopped the suspect area of Belleplain Court and Allen Dent Road near Dumfries before 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Police officers, a police K9, and a helicopter from Fairfax County police all searched the area for the suspect but didn’t find him.

Police are looking for a public drunkard who they said escaped their grasp.
On Tuesday, October 4, at 8:02 p.m., officers were called to the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge to investigate suspected illegal drug use. A man detained by apartment security personnel for suspected illegal drug use turned out to be the suspect, police said.
