The victim was shot in a parking lot near Taco Bell.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation– On September 20 at 9:34PM, officers responded to the 7700 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Manassas, was shot in the lower body after a verbal altercation with several unknown persons. The encounter appears to have stemmed from an ongoing dispute. After the shooting, the suspects fled the area. Responding officers provided immediate first-aid to the victim before rescue crews arrived on scene. The victim was flown to an area hospital and is expected survive. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
