Water is back for all but one person who lives in the area of Erin Drive and Raintree Boulevard.
Here’s an update from Stafford County spokeswoman Sharon Richardson:
[Repair crews] had to turn the water off for a few minutes around 3:30 [p.m.] to make a repair. It had been off earlier for about an hour.
The two street involved are Erin Drive and Marla Court. Traffic is moving through and currently the only customer out of water is at 103 Erin Drive.
Repairs should be finished in a couple of hours and water service will be restored then.
4:15 p.m.
NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Crews are working to repair a water main on Erin Drive, off Raintree Boulevard and Va. 610, in North Stafford.
Residents in the area say water service has been intermittent all afternoon.
Crews working on the issue say they’ve had to cut water on and off again to fix an unidentified problem.
We’re working on getting more information from Stafford County officials. We’ll post here when we have it.
