Grab the blankets and head outdoors to the lawn to watch one of two films being shown in our area this weekend.
In Dumfries on Friday, “The Lorax” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in Garrison Park behind Town Hall. The movie is a partnership with the town and Pillar Church.
In Manassas Park, their summer movie season kicks off at 7:45 p.m. Saturday in Costello Park where “Hotel Transylvania” will be shown on the lawn.
Both events are free to attend.
