Suspect Sketch Released in Manassas Threatening Notes Cases

MANASSAS, Va. — Police in Manassas now have a facial composite sketch of a man suspected of leaving threatening notes at doorsteps in the city.

The Manassas City Police Department is investigating a series of 20 threatening notes left at the front doors of residences in the Weems neighborhood area. The most recent notes were left at the front doors of three residences in the area of the Sumner Lake neighborhood between Saturday, March 2, and Monday, March 4.

With the help of a witness from a recent incident, a sketch of a possible suspect was completed today. The description is a male, light brown to black hair, light to medium complexion, medium build, and average height. The Department requests the public’s assistance in identifying the person depicted in the sketch.

Manassas Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to a conviction in the case. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-330-0330.
