DALE CITY, Va. — An employee at a pawn shop in Dale City was stabbed this afternoon during at attempted robbery.
Police reported the stabbing about 2 p.m. Thursday, and said it happened at Pawn City at 4124 Dale Boulevard.
According to police, a man entered the store armed with a knife, stabbed an employee, but didn’t take anything.
The victim suffered injuries that did not appear to be life threatening and was flown to a local hospital. The man who stabbed the employee is an acquaintance, police added.
One person is now in custody, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
