Dog Krazy marked 20 years in business on Saturday, Aug. 22.
We stopped by the downtown Fredericksburg location at 307 William St. to check in on the celebration.
Founded in 2006 by Nancy Guinn and inspired by her bulldog, Piglet, Dog Krazy has grown from its Fredericksburg beginnings to locations in Richmond, Ruther Glen and Stafford.
As part of the 20th anniversary celebration, customers at all locations received 20% off everything in the store, along with special 20th anniversary goodie bags with purchase, while supplies lasted.
Fredericksburg owner Anne Marie, who took over the store last year, said the community’s support has been incredible. She said one of her favorite parts of the job is seeing familiar customers and their pets return to the shop.
For Dog Krazy, the anniversary marked two decades of serving Virginia pet owners — and Saturday’s celebration was a chance to thank the customers who helped make that possible.
Dog Krazy is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
