Stafford deputies chase suspect across barbed wire fence

Stafford County Sheriff: "A wanted Stafford man attempted to run and hide, but discovered both would not help him escape from deputies."

"On September 24th at approximately 4:10 p.m. Sergeant B.U. Demirci and Deputy B.W. Gildea were at the Latin Market, located at 367 Warrenton Road, when they observed someone they knew to be wanted. The 21-year-old suspect was wanted for two outstanding capias charges. When the two deputies attempted to converse with the suspect, he quickly began fleeing, resulting in a foot pursuit."
