The Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fredericksburg program graduated its 15th class during a ceremony at the University of Mary Washington Stafford Campus.
In September, the class began the Leadership Fredericksburg program with a personality profile assessment. Leadership content was taught by a faculty consisting of Dr. David Corderman, Academy Leadership Associates, Dr. J.R. Flatter, Flatter, Inc., Janel Donohue, Rappahannock United Way, Kimberly Young, University of Mary Washington, and Susan Spears, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber.
Each month, leaders in community engagement, business, nonprofit, and education spoke to the class and offered insights about their leadership journeys. In addition, each fellow was paired with a trained mentor from the business community who supported their progress throughout the program.
Before graduation, four teams from the class of 28 fellows presented the results of their Community Action Projects for FailSafe-ERA. Each group presented their deliverables during the Project Presentations at the LifePoint Church Spotsylvania Campus on May 12th.
