Stafford, Va. — Clouded skies have led to a tornado watching being posted for Stafford County until 8 p.m.
The National Weather Service posted the watch for the county and areas south of Stafford as high winds are expected to affect the region today.
Thunderstorms are in the forecast, mainly before 4 p.m., according to the weather service.
A wind advisory goes into effect at 3 p.m. today until midnight for Prince William County, as wind gusts of more than 55 mph are expected to impact the area.
