WARRENTON – (Press Release) Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. and its principal subsidiary, The Fauquier Bank (the “Bank” or “TFB”), are pleased to welcome Peter Nadanyi as the Senior Commercial Relationship Manager for the Fauquier County Commercial Team.
Mr. Nadanyi brings to the Bank over 29 years of experience in commercial and retail bank management. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Nadanyi served as a Market President and Senior Commercial Banker for BB&T in Warrenton, Virginia. He also served as an Area Executive for BB&T in the Shenanadoah Valley market and as the Retail Banking Manager for BB&T in the DC Metro market.
Previous to his positions at BB&T, Mr. Nadanyi worked at First Virginia Bank after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech with a concentration in Marketing Management.

Mr. Nadanyi’s entire commercial and retail banking career has been based in Northern Virginia, Northern Shenandoah Valley area, and DC Metro area. He is currently an active member of the Warrenton Rotary Club.

Mr. Nadanyi and his wife, Sally Y. Kim, PhD, are currently residents of Loudoun County, VA. In typical banker fashion, Mr. Nadanyi played collegiate golf at Virginia Tech and still enjoys golfing today.
