STAFFORD -- (Press Release) Two suspects believed to be behind a shooting of a residence in the northern end of the county were arrested on Tuesday evening by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
On November 27, 2018, at approximately 6:11 p.m., a caller reported hearing a shot and believed a bullet entered his apartment located in the 1000 block of Providence Street near the Stafford Marketplace shopping center. Sgt. Zotos arrived on scene and observed two subjects near a vehicle who proceeded to quickly flee on foot. He gave chase and lost sight of the subjects in the woods behind the apartments.
Units set up a perimeter and the K9 and drone teams were called out to assist with the search. Two firearms, cash, and a bag containing a substance consistent with marijuana were located in the vehicle where Sgt. Zotos first observed the suspects. One firearm returned stolen out of Prince William County.
