
In Stafford County, authorities are investigating two separate incidents of fraud involving unauthorized purchases on financial cards. The first incident was reported on McCarty Road, where a victim discovered several fraudulent transactions on their credit card after it was declined. The victim learned of the unauthorized purchases after contacting their bank.
Later, on Town Square Circle, another victim reported fraudulent purchases made from another state on one of their financial cards. Deputy D. S. Jett responded to the complaint and is handling the investigation.
Additionally, a case of vandalism was reported on Clearview Lane. The siding of a home was damaged by a small arrow, possibly originating from nearby woods. Deputy C. S. Harding is investigating the incident.

FRAUD
McCarty Road, 12/9 12:07 p.m. Sergeant J. W. Kyle handled a fraud complaint. The victim reported they tried to use their credit card on 12/7/2025, but it was declined. In speaking with their bank, they learned that an unknown individual made several fraudulent purchases on their account.
Town Square Circle, 12/9 9:32 p.m. Deputy D. S. Jett responded to a fraud complaint. The victim advised that fraudulent purchases were made from another state on one of their financial cards.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
Clearview Lane, 12/9 9:28 a.m. Deputy C. S. Harding responded to a vandalism report. The victim advised that the siding of their home was damaged by a small arrow that may have come from some nearby woods.
