An assault and battery charge involving a family member was the most serious incident in the latest Fredericksburg Police blotter for December 9. A 29-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested in connection with the alleged domestic assault.
Police also responded to a vehicle tampering incident in the 600 block of Maury Street on December 4, where a car was rummaged through. That same day, someone reported the theft of headphones in the 1300 block of Central Park Boulevard.
Additional arrests included charges such as public intoxication, obstructing justice, failure to comply with a court order, and revoked pretrial release. All incidents occurred in Fredericksburg unless otherwise noted.

Chewning, Alvin William Jr., 42, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of contempt of court.
Reynolds, Jennifer Lynn, 41, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of obstructing justice.
King, Victor Da-Von, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of intoxication in public.
Ameri, Milad, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of assault & battery – family member.
Neal, Kaylynn Annette, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of obstructing justice.
Thomas, Linda Ann, 58, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of intoxication in public.
