Sprouts Farmers Market to open Friday

Sprouts Farmers Market will open its newest store near Manassas on May 12 at 8431 Sudley Road. A ribbon cutting will take place Friday morning at 6:45 a.m. The doors to the store will open at 7 a.m.

From Friday, May 12, through Sunday, May 14, customers will see various grand-opening. A “pop-up party” out front will feature seasonal produce, games, face painting, and produce carving. The first 200 shoppers will receive a free reusable bag filled with product samples on Friday and Saturday.

Inside the store, shoppers will see more product samples. Additionally, there will be children’s games, music, and prizes.

In two months, a customer appreciation event will be held on July 8, where guests will be treated to vendor samples and can win a $500 gift card when shoppers sign up for a Sprouts account.

Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, this store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain edible to the Capital Area Food Bank, a local nonprofit that provides food to the needy.

This location near Manassas is the first in the region and will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
