A new sports fashion store will come to Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
JD Sports will operate in a 7,179 square foot space near the mall’s Center Court, across from the Customer Service Center. The store will open by the end of the year.
JD Sports sells footwear from brands like Nike, Adidas, Vans, and Puma. It also stocks joggers, hoodies, and leggings for men, women, and children.
Known as the “King of Trainers,” JD Sports was established in 1981 with a single store in northwest England, according to a press release from mall management. The JD Group now has 3,400 stores across 32 countries, with a presence in the UK, Europe, North America, and the Asia Pacific. In 2018, JD Sports acquired the parent company of The Finish Line.
Spotsylvania Towne Centre has been serving the people of northern Virginia since 1980. It is located at the junction of Interstate 95 and Route 3, near Fredericksburg. The 1.7 million square foot complex offers more than 120 department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues.
