The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates for the soon-to-open CEO position that will be open following the retirement of Debbie Jones.

The Board of Directors voted and approved a Transition Committee that has worked to secure a CEO Search firm Anissa Starnes, IOM with YGM, Total Resource Campaigns, LLC, of Springdale, Ark. to manage the nationwide search. YGM specializes in the total resources of Chambers of Commerce through strategic revenue alignment and executive searches, the chamber states in a press release.

Candidates can review the job description online. Interested candidates must submit a letter of interest, resume/CV, and salary requirements.

The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6 organization covering the Prince William Region, which includes Prince William County, the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.

Earlier this year, Jones announced her retirement from the Chamber of Commerce, which she’s led since 2014. Four years earlier, the Greater Manassas – Prince William Chamber of Commerce, serving Manassas and western Prince William County, merged with The Region’s Chamber, primarily serving eastern Prince William County.

Jones previously worked for the Greater Manassas — Prince William Chamber of Commerce before the merger.

Jones’ retirement announcement followed news of Ross Snare’s departure from the Prince William Chamber of Commerce to UVA Medical Center. Snare served as Jones’ second in command and the organization’s lobbyist.
