Crystal Vanuch to run for Rock Hill Supervisor

STAFFORD — (Press Release) Crystal Vanuch, a lifelong conservative and resident of Stafford, accepts Supervisor Wendy Maurer’s endorsement to run for the position of Rock Hill Supervisor.

Vanuch, 35, is a proud resident in the Rock Hill District. She currently serves as the Chairman of the Stafford County Planning Commission.  She is President and CEO of a successful public affairs firm based in Stafford, Virginia. Vanuch graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Wesleyan University with a degree in Business.  The general election is scheduled to take place on November 5th, 2019.

“I am both proud and humbled to accept Supervisor Maurer’s request to run and serve the residents of Rock Hill,” said Vanuch. “I was born, raised, and received my education in Stafford County… This county has given me so much and I feel compelled to run for this position so I can work for the people who call Rock Hill home.”

Rock Hill Supervisor, Wendy Maurer, says “I am grateful that Crystal is running for Supervisor. Her time as my appointee on the Planning Commission has proven that she is smart, diligent, and willing to do the hard work necessary to fight for the residents of Rock Hill and that is why she has my full endorsement and support.”

“There are a host of issues coming to the board that could forever change our county and I will not allow special interests to dictate my vote,” said Vanuch. “I want to find solutions to ensure development pays for itself and that we find ways to work with state and federal officials to get real solutions to the constant traffic congestion this county sees daily.”

“I look forward to getting to know the many residents of Rock Hill that I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting.  I am also eager, and excited, to better understand their needs, in an effort to ensure that my voice is the voice of all Rock Hill residents.  Together we can solve the tough issues facing our County.”
