The Stafford Democratic Committee will be hosting a meeting on February 8 in the Stafford Government Offices.
Local elected officials are expected to attend and speak at this meeting, including Delegate Mike Futrell and Garrisonville Supervisor Laura Sellers.

We anticipate the program will have several general announcements including information from our two Democratic elected officials. Mike Futrell (or one of his staff) from the 2nd House of Delegates District and Laura Sellers, Garrisonville Supervisor, Stafford Board of Supervisors.
We will also get an update on the Stafford 350th Anniversary Celebration.
Mr. Robert Martin is an At Large member of the LGBT Caucus Board and has a presentation. He is also the Secretary of the Spotsylvania Democratic Committee, a member of the 7th CD Committee, and a member of the DPVA Central Committee. This is a very timely presentation considering the Attorney General’s position on the Marriage Amendment and several cases working through the courts.
The SDC Business Meeting is on Thursday, 13 Feb 14 from 7:30 – 8:30pm. We are planning to have presentations on efforts to stop Human Trafficking which exploits women in the sex entertainment industry and migrant workers for the March 2014 General Meeting.
