MANASSAS, Va.– Robbery reported in the BB&T Bank parking lot.

Strong Armed Robbery –
On September 16th at 12:00PM, police responded to the BB&T Bank located at 7801 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a robbery.
The victim, a 51 year old man of Stephens City, reported to police that he had just left the bank after cashing a check when he was approached from behind by an unknown man in the parking lot.
During a confrontation, the suspect attempted to pepper spray the victim to his face but missed. The suspect then knocked the victim to the ground and took his backpack containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on a bicycle.
Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Black male, between 20 & 29 years of age, 5’9”, 200lbs with a heavy build, medium complexion, and long, black deadlocks
