NORTH STAFFORD, Va. –– The governor is coming to town to stump for House of Delegates hopeful Mark Dudenhefer.
Gov. Robert F. McDonnell is scheduled to appear at noon Thursday at the Globe and Laurel Restaurant at 3987 Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. 1) at Boswell’s Corner in North Stafford.
Dudenhefer, a Republican, is currently the Chairman of the Stafford Board of Supervisors and is vying to represent the newly shifted 2nd House District that includes portions of Woodbridge and North Stafford.
Currently vacant, the 2nd House District was shifted to the Potomac Communities from southwest Virginia during the decennial redistricting process.
