Police found two people suffering gunshots inside a home in Lake Ridge.
Officers were called at 3:33 a.m. to the 11500 block of Bertram Street to investigate a death. When they arrived, officers found a 36-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

A man was shot in the hand during a robbery on Saturday.
Police said the 23-year-old victim was walking in the area of Minnieville and Smoketown roads, near Lake Ridge at 3:15 a.m. when another man approached him, pulled out a gun and started rifling through his pockets.
Construction crews are about to remove a sharp curve in Old Bridge Road, a vital link to Interstate 95.
The curve is at Occoquan Road, and it’s one of the sharpest turns on any six-lane street in the region. The $11.5 million project will realign the highway south of Occoquan Road. Transportation officials hope the improvements work to ease traffic congestion that forms in the street’s elbow, which backs up to Route 123 at Interstate 95.
Prince William County wants to continue leasing land for a dog park in Lake Ridge.
The Board of County Supervisors has authorized its parks department to renew a lease for K9 Gunner Memorial Park, at 13000 Minnieville Road. Opened in 2012, the lease on the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Authority property expired on December 1.
