Residents will have their chance to speak out on a proposed power line in Haymarket on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016.
A series two of public hearings about the 5-mile power line will start at 4:30 p.m., and again at 7 p.m. at Battlefield Senior High School will provide a chance for residents to speak out about the project. The plan calls for constructing 230-kilovolt power line from a substation near the intersection of Interstate 66 and Route 234, and connect it with a soon-to-be built substation near Haymarket.
