A new subdivision, Highland Park Townhomes at Town Square, is coming to Dumfries – but we don’t know much about it.

On Tuesday, June 2, the Dumfries Town Council approved the new subdivision on what will be Townsquare Court, just off Route 1, and the 105 homes that it will create. 


Prince William

Robert “Bob” Seefeldt, long time Prince William County resident and husband to former Board of Supervisors chair Kathleen Seefeldt, died on May 23, 2020 at the age of 87 while receiving hospice care.

A native of Marietta, Minnesota, Bob moved to the National Capital region for a position at the national headquarters of Future Farmers of America (FFA) in Alexandria. Eventually, Bob and Kathy moved their family to Prince William County in 1970.

A Manassas police report states they’re searching for a man who stabbed the victim on Sunday, June 7, at  11:15 a.m.  Police were called to the motel at 9913 Cockrell Road, near downtown, for a report on a stabbing incident.
