Stafford sheriff’s deputies caught Manassas men two men they say stole more than $12,000 of items from two home improvement warehouses.
Deputies captured the two men outside a Lowes at 299 Banks Ford Parkway, just off Route 17 in southern Stafford County a 1:31 p.m. Monday, December 20.
The Stafford County Board of Supervisors established the Lake Arrowhead Service District Advisory Committee.
This panel will facilitate communication and coordination between the residents of the Lake Arrowhead community in western Stafford County and the county government. County officials will accept online applications from residents who want to serve on the commission.

Theresa Ellis will run for Congress in Virginia’s new 7th District, most likely including her hometown Manassas city, Prince William, and Stafford counties.
The Republican, who sits on the Manassas City Council, initially announced a bid for the 10th District seat this summer. However, changes to statewide political districts proposed by the Virginia State Supreme Court would mean Manassas and a portion of Prince William County would no longer sit in District 10.
Tax break: The Stafford County Board of Supervisors approved a $90,000 tax break incentive over five years to support the expansion of Stafford based business, Virginia Oncology Care. In turn, the company will invest $3.8 million into the business, creating 25 new jobs. [Stafford County Economic Development]
