NORTH STAFFORD, Va.–A woman was injured and a driver charged in a crash on Interstate 95 on Thursday afternoon.
About 2:30 p.m., a 16-year-old female from Stafford that was driving a 2005 Ford Expedition was entering I-95 north from Va. 610 in North Stafford, but then stopped at the end to the acceleration lane because there were too many cars for her to merge onto the highway, said Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Les Tyler.
A special meeting of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors has been scheduled.
The meeting is scheduled to begin 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 28, in the conference room at the county’s government center off U.S. 1.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va.– It’s going to cost more for your student to eat school lunch next year in Stafford County.
The school board on Tuesday voted to raise the price of breakfast 10 cents and the price of lunch 15 cents, said Stafford public schools spokeswoman Valerie Cottongim.

FALMOUTH, Va. – A woman who refused to check out of a hotel this morning got the attention of police.
The manager of the Howard Johnson on U.S. 17 in south Stafford called police when a woman wouldn’t leave the room, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Virginia Railway Express’ new express train was delayed during it inaugural run Monday.
The train left the Fredericksburg station on time at 5:15 a.m., but then hit delays in Stafford County and into Woodbridge, said VRE Board Chair Paul Milde.
