STAFFORD COUNTY, Va.– It’s going to cost more for your student to eat school lunch next year in Stafford County.
The school board on Tuesday voted to raise the price of breakfast 10 cents and the price of lunch 15 cents, said Stafford public schools spokeswoman Valerie Cottongim.
Elementary school students will now pay $2.15 for school lunches, middle and high school students $2.25. Faculty, staff and all other adults will pay $2.90, said Cottongim.
Breakfast will cost $1.20 for students, $1.55 for adults.
Milk is still a reasonable 50 cents.
