Vandalism to Auto
At approximately 1:05 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9600 block of Ellicott Ln for a report of a vandalism. The reporting party told officers that she was inside her residence when she heard loud noises coming from outside. When she looked outside, she discovered that her vehicle’s front passenger window had been shattered, resulting in $500 worth of damage.

Bills Moving Through
On Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, the Town of Dumfries will be hosting our Annual Black History Month Celebration at the Little Union Baptist Church located at 17150 Mine Road in Dumfries.
This ceremony will feature guest speaker Reverend Michael Sessoms, from Little Union Baptist Church as well as Ms. Phyllis Aggrey, Executive Director of the Prince William County Human Rights Commission. Ceremonies will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will feature performances by the Little Union Baptists Men’s Choir and the Dumfries Elementary Chorus.

Given the risk of inclement weather on Monday, Our Prince William and Smart Chicks on Politics and Entertainmen thave decided to err on the side of caution and postpone the “Baking the Pie with Your Dough” Townhall scheduled for Monday, February 8th. New commuter bus service from eastern Prince William County to Mark Center begins today.
Commuter buses will take riders from neighborhoods in Dale City and Lake Ridge to Mark Center, the federal employment hub in Alexandria that is the home to the Department of Defense’s Washington Headquarters Services, and other Department of Defense agencies.
