Myrtle Beach, S.C. –– In a driving rainstorm that had settled in over BB&T Coastal Field, Hector Nelo struck out Jared Hoying to strand the winning runs on base and lock up a 6-5 P-Nats win in Myrtle Beach.

In a game that was delayed 40 minutes because of heavy rains, the Nationals had one big inning and held on for a waterlogged win to open the second half of the Carolina League schedule.

The FBI has charged Yonathan Melaku in last fall’s shootings at the National Museum of the Marine Corps and Pentagon.

The 22-year-old U.S. Marine reservist was arrested Friday at Arlington National Cemetery after police saw him inside the cemetery in during the overnight hours. Investigators feared he was carrying explosive, bomb-making material in a backpack he was carrying.

FBI authorities are not commenting on the report as it still an ongoing investigation, said spokesman Andrew Ames.

Yonathan Melaku, 22, was arrested at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday after police feared he had bomb-making materials in a backpack he was carrying.

Police were called at 1:15 a.m. Monday to Marumsco Hills Elementary School at 14100 Page Street in Woodbridge. They found six windows on the building had been smashed out.

Afterward, rescue crews were called to treat the injured hand of the alleged offender, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Kimberley Alexander, 33, was chosen out of 51 applicants who applied to be Culpeper’s new town manager.

“She proved to be the top candidate in a field of very talented people who applied,” said Mayor Chip Coleman in a press release. “She has faced some tough issues in her previous position and handled them well.”
