Police say 38-year-old Henry Pierre Allen, of Landover, Md., was taken to a local hospital after he was shot by an ATF agent Monday night.

The 63-year-old was inside her home in the 2000 block of Horizon Court, in the Misty Ridge apartment complex, when she heard her sliding glass door open at 10:05 p.m., and then saw a man come into her home, say police.
The man pulled out a handgun and demanded money, but the woman fought back and struck the man on the head with the gun, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Stafford fire and rescue crews about 1:30 p.m. Sunday were called to a crash at 179 Poplar Road in the Hartwood section of the county.
The one male passenger inside the truck collided with a tree, became trapped inside, and then the truck caught fire. Crews worked for 20 minutes to bring the fire under control and to pull the victim, who is believed to be in his 30s, from the wrecked pick up, said Stafford fire and rescue spokesman Mark Doyle.

While Erica Maynor’s family comes to grips with her death a clearer picture of the victim is emerging.
Virginia’s Medical Examiner’s office on Saturday confirmed the body found inside a burning dumpster in Woodbridge’s Bayvue neighborhood March 23 was that of 25-year-old Erica Dawn Maynor.

The state medical examiner would not confirm the age of the victim.
