QUANTICO — A car fire closed a portion of Interstate 95 on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews were called to mile marker 147 north, just before the first exit for Quantize Marine Corps Base at 8:35 a.m.

MANASSAS — About 500 people packed the track — the runway at the Manassas Regional Airport — on Sunday for the annual Manassas Runway 10K/5k/1 Miler race.
Three races were held — a 10K and 5K for adults, and 1-mile fun run for children. The results of the race are posted online.
