From VDOT:
Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes Sunday, Sept. 25 from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the following road closures related to the Prince William Half-Marathon:
- Route 29 between Heathcote Boulevard and Route 234
- University Boulevard between Wellington Road and Route 29
- Wellington Road between Limestone Drive and David Williams Way
Route 29 motorists will be detoured via Heathcote Boulevard, Catharpin Road and Route 234 back to Route 29; Wellington Road motorists will be detoured via Limestone Drive, Linton Hall Road (Route 619) and Devlin Road back to Wellington Road.
Detour signs and message boards will be in place. Prince William County Police will be on hand to direct traffic.
