A woman has been charged with stalking a man in Manassas.
According to Prince William police, on the morning of August 17, officers were called to Portwood Turn in Manassas to investigate a stalking incident.
The victim – a 33-year old Woodbridge man – told officers that he was in his vehicle on Portwood Turn that morning when an acquaintance – 19-year old Centerville woman Breanna Pendleton – opened his driver’s side door and hit him in the face, according to Prince William police.
During the incident, Pendleton pulled out a knife and struggled with the victim before she dropped the knife and fled the scene, stated Prince William police.
The victim had minor cuts to his hand, and went to an area medical facility for treatment.
Prince William police stated that the victim showed officers record that Pendleton had been communicating with him via texts and phone calls.
Pendleton has been charged with malicious wounding and stalking, according to Prince William police.
