MANASSAS, Va. — Police in Manassas have ruled the death of a man found stabbed to death inside a garbage dumpster a homicide.

The state Medical Examiner has ruled the suspicious death of a 26-year-old man who was found on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, in the 8900 block of Nicol Lane as a homicide. The cause of death was multiple stab wounds.
Manassas City Police are asking residents who may have been in the area on Aug. 16 or 17, 2014 and have information aboutthis case to call the Investigative Services Division at (703) 257-8092 or Crime Solvers. Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
