HAYMARKET, Va. -- Some Alvey Elementary School students suffered minor injuries Thursday morning after riding on a school bus that collided with a car this morning.

Emergency crews responded to a minor accident after Alvey Bus #355 was hit by a car this morning. Some students complained of minor injuries, and two were transported to the hospital to be checked out. Injuries do not appear serious. Parents of all students aboard are being contacted directly.
