STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Road crews are working this morning to clear icy spots on area roads.
More in a press release from VDOT:
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are patrolling Interstate 95 this morning in the Fredericksburg District, along with primary and secondary roads in Caroline, Spotsylvania and Stafford counties, to apply abrasives for isolated areas of ice. Motorists should proceed with caution as they drive this morning, especially on low-volume roads, bridges, interstate ramps and overpasses. Due to lower surface temperatures, or less traffic, these areas are more likely to develop ice.
