LAKE RIDGE, Va. -- Police in Lake Ridge are investigating a murder.

Homicide Investigation | Murder – On November 12th at 8:14PM, police responded to the 3400 block of Caledonia Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a suspicious death. The caller reported to police that she went to visit her friend who resided at a home in the above area. Upon arriving, the caller found the door to the residence unsecured and contacted police. Officers arrived and conducted a search of the home, finding the victim inside the residence. The victim had sustained an injury to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was reportedly last seen on Sunday, November 10th. At this time, detectives from the Homicide Unit are currently investigating this death as a murder. The investigation continues.
