WOODBRIDGE,Va. — Woman arrested after she shot a handgun into the air over a juvenile dispute, police report.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm –
On October 19th at 9:20PM, police responded to the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call.
The investigation revealed that the daughter of the accused had been involved in an ongoing dispute with other neighborhood juveniles.
Once learned of the dispute, the accused went to the above area to confront the other parties involved. The encounter escalated and, at one point, the accused displayed a handgun and fired a round into the air.
No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
