Supervisor frustrated over U.S. 1
Dumfries Supervisor Maureen Caddigan says it’s a shame Prince William and Stafford counties can’t get more help with widening U.S. 1 in advance of the massive number of federal and military workers whose jobs will be moved to Quantico Marine Corps Base as part of the military’s BRAC relocation.

Residents like the name Woodbridge, but are not too happy with a plan to call a portion of the magisterial district Marumsco. A shopping center and at least two neighborhoods in Woodbridge already bear the name.
