“We’re not defending a title,” head coach Marcus Kahn said. “We’re chasing a second one.” Fredericksburg Free Press reported that the University of Mary Washington men’s basketball team opens its season Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Marywood University in the University of Scranton tournament.
The Eagles return 13 players from last year’s NCAA Division III national championship team, including All-America guard Kye Robinson, and were picked No. 1 in the nation by D3hoops.com.
