Witness: Traffic Directed Around Man on Ground

11 p.m. UPDATE

An emergency services source tells PotomacLocal.com a male was killed tonight after he ran in front of a car traveling near Spriggs and Lindendale roads.

We are still working to get information from the Prince William police department on any investigation that may be taking place following this incident.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A pedestrian has been stuck at Minnieville and Spriggs roads in Woodbridge, according to sources.

Police are directing traffic on Spriggs Road around what appeared to be a man on lying on the ground, according to an eyewitness. The Staples Mill shopping center is in this area and includes a grocery store and restaurants.

The incident comes as nearby C.D. Hylton High School is hosting a varsity football game. The games can bring additional traffic to the area.

Prince William police earlier this afternoon reported another pedestrian who was struck at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Yates Ford Road near Manassas.
