Officials report Northampton Boulevard is now open in the area of Woodlands Pool and Eustace Road in North Stafford.
A gas leak prompted the closure of the portion of road, but repairs taking place now are able to go on without the road closure, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Stafford authorities closed a portion of Northampton Boulevard, between Eustace Road and the Woodlands Swimming Pool, after a gas leak sprung in the area.
Officials said the gas has been shut off but added it will take crews at least two hours to finish repairs to the broken main.
Drivers are urged to drive with caution. No injuries have been reported.
