Woodbridge Man Wanted in Stabbing

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A teenager from Lorton was stabbed in the arm outside home in the Marumsco Acres neighborhood in Woodbridge.

Police were called at 9:38 p.m. Friday after the 17-year-old victim told police he was chased out of a home and stabbed.

The victim told police the argument that unfolded earlier that night inside a home in the 14400 block of Lamar Road quickly escalated, and that the suspect in the case grabbed a kitchen knife and then chased the victim from the home. The suspect continued to chase the victim down the street and attempted to stab him causing the victim to fall, according to police reports.

With the victim on the ground, the suspect repeatedly tried to stab the victim again and this time stabbed him in the arm, according to police.

Afterward, the suspect went back to the house and engaged in another argument, this time with the remaining occupants of the home. The suspect then threw a brick at the car of someone who was trying to leave the house, police stated.

The suspect fled and remains at large despite the police department’s best efforts to find him.

Nathaniel Bernard Hines, 22, of 14425 Lamar Rd in Woodbridge, is charged with malicious wounding, throwing missiles at an occupied vehicle and destruction of property. He’s described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 120 pounds, with a thin build with black hair and brown eyes.
