Coronavirus hospitalization rates continue to fall across region

Here’s a look at today’s coronavirus hospitalization report.

Prince William Health District

One new hospitalization has been reported in Prince William County, an average hospitalization rate of 0.4% per 100,000 of the county’s 465,000 people. The hospitalization average was 0.7% in our last report on Tuesday, November 24.

There is one new report of one person in Manassas park being hospitalized for the disease. Health officials report the city’s average hospitalization rate is 0.7% of the population being admitted to a hospital with coronavirus in the past seven days.

Rappahannock Area Health District

One new hospitalization has been reported in Stafford County today. An average of one percent of the county’s population is admitted to a hospital for coronavirus over the past seven days.

One new hospitalization is reported in Spotsylvania County, is now seeing a lower average hospitalization rate of 0.5%  for the past seven days, down from 0.7% on Tuesday.

There no new hospitalizations to tell you about in Caroline and King George counties or Fredericksburg City.

Statewide

A total of 1,276 people are hospitalized with the disease — 146 more than Tuesday.
