Antoinette Abbott, age 73, of Clifton, Virginia passed away Monday, August 26, 2019.
She was born on December 29, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Anthony and Calliope (Fillow) Evangelu. She married the love her life, the late Richard Abbott, in 1966, and they enjoyed 51 years together. She was a fantastic cook famous for her Greek specialities. She loved antiquing, traveling and spending time with family.
Survivors include her two children, Lillian Abbott Pfohl and husband William of Syracuse, New York, Richard Anthony Abbott and wife Caryn of Centreville, Virginia, and two grandchildren, William Richard Pfohl and Silas Richard Abbott.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Saint Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, Falls Church, Virginia.
Interment be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
