Congressman Gerry Connolly will auto-dial thousands of constituents beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. for his next telephone town hall meeting.
The calls will ask residents in Prince William and Fairfax counties if they want to participate in the one-hour conference, and if they choose to do so, they are invited to asked the congressmen questions on any topic.
Connolly expects the focus of the conversation to trend on raising the debt ceiling and improving Virginia’s economy, according to a press release from the congressman’s office.
Those who already know they want to participate in the town hall meeting are encouraged to sign up at Connolly’s website.
The congressman does respond to each question asked, however, because of time constraints, some would-be questioners could have to leave a voice mail for Connolly and be answered following the hour-long town hall event, according to the press release.
Connolly’s previous tele-town hall meetings have been popular with residents as they do not have to leave their homes to attend them.
