Arlen Ellis Combs, passed away September 5, 2017. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, wonderful grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his wife Violet, of 59 years; his daughter, Wilma; his parents, Howard and Hazel; sisters Eula May and Frances and brothers, Walter, Leon, Buster, Delo and Truman.
He is survived by daughters, Darlene Denver and husband, Danny, Debbie Morris and husband, Eddie, Loretta Combs and family friend, David; six grandchildren, Melanie (Ray), Danny, Jr. (Sally), Missy (Matt), Regina, Chrissy (Charlie) and Anthony (Elizabeth; 14 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and sister, Linda and Marylee and brothers Lewis, Willie and Randall.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, at Pierce Funeral Home, Manassas.
A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
